Step 1. Excavate.
Step 2. Prep Base.
Depending on the edger size, dig a trench 4" or 6" deep and 8" or 12" wide.
Compact dirt at the bottom of the trench. You can add and compact paver sand if needed.
Step 4. Lay Stones.
Step 5. Fill Behind.
Set the edgers in the trench. Level by tapping with a rubber mallet.
Fill behind the edgers with sand or dirt to keep them in place.
